Support KDE Plasma. dextertd 23 February 2021 22:18 1. I have been unable to get custom global themes (installed with the “Get New Global Themes…” button) to work completely. I have tried with two new clean installs of minimal KDE on two different machines. So far I have tried Sweet KDE (without kvantum) as well as Layan (with kvantum).
Open the KDE System Settings application. (I find the easiest way is to press Alt + F2, type in systemsettings, and press Enter. But you can also launch it from the K menu if you like.) Choose Software Management under System Administration: Then select Settings from the left panel, and under Check for updates, choose Never: Finally, click Apply.

To install Debian Testing (Bookworm): Google these keywords ---> Debian installer The ISO links on that page are always for Testing, which I've been running for some 10 years now as my crutch. The only major breakage I can remember are usually with Plasma, once every couple years or so.

Removing this package will remove the following: kde-plasma-desktop . Does anyone know how to remove the apps or install Debian with KDE without these apps? The KDE from the installer installs extra software selected by Debian. If you install without desktop, you can install kde-plasma-desktop with apt.

The correct way to install Plasma 5.10 in testing or sid is now. Code: Select all. apt install plasma-desktop. If you want it in Stretch, try bester's Frankenstall.
